S1E6 - Remain

Underneath the surface of Metropolis West lies the source of its power: the datacombs. Built by engineers long ago, it's surrounded by the sprawling tunnels of the Numitron Tube, an abandoned transportation project that POTEN Co. no longer uses. But that hasn't stopped all manner of hackers, programmers, and dealers from turning it into their paradise. Caine and Su-jin are navigating to the deepest part of the Numitron Tube in order to get more power for Zero Zero. All the things that remain in the depths might not make it easy for them. Featuring drugs we don't know the name for, journeys safer with two people, and a seriously outdated joke about virtual reality.

Trigger warnings: Yelling, loud sounds, mentions of drugs and drug use, and verbal abuse.

Note: This episode has been edited from its original release to omit a hacker slang term that had also been used as a racial epithet, which was not the intention when this piece was originally written.
